The Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción de El Bohodón, formerly known as Santa María la Mayor del Castillo and in Mudejar style, was rebuilt in Baroque style in the 18th century and stands out for its majestic chancel and its belfry at the foot. The main reforms included the half-orange vault in the main chapel and several baroque altarpieces, among them the altarpiece of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, the work of Luis González. It also houses the altarpiece of the Vera Cruz, the altarpiece of San Antonio and an organ.
