Astronomical Observatory
The Buenaventura Suárez Astronomical Interpretation Center – integrated into the Jesuit Route – was inaugurated on March 24, 2010 within the Mission of San Cosme and San Damián. Indeed, its name pays tribute to the Jesuit priest who became one of the pioneers in the construction of astronomical devices in America.
Currently, in the complex you can see a planetarium, astronomical observatory, multimedia projection room, as well as a service area. Without a doubt a reference place for lovers of science and stargazing.
