The Church of Santa Maria Stella Maris is located on the seafront of Fossacesia Marina and serves as the area’s main church. Built in the 1970s using reinforced concrete, it features an irregular rectangular layout and a modern eclectic style. The façade is adorned with a large high-relief of Christ the Redeemer and the Holy Spirit. Inside, the quadrangular nave is enhanced by colourful stained-glass windows and a triangular skylight above the presbytery. The side bell tower bears the inscription “AVE O MARIA”.
