Church of San Giovanni Battista

San Giovanni Battista Church was built in 1641 by Baron Andrea Gonzaga after the 1627 earthquake, using the former stables of the baronial palace. Consecrated in 1642, it underwent expansions and embellishments in the 18th century. The bell tower was completed between 1849 and 1872. It is now the main parish church of the town.
