Baroque-style Benedictine monastic complex built in the 18th century on the banks of the Danube on a previous medieval construction. The original monastery was founded in the 7th century by Irish monks who were disciples of Saint Columban.

The complex includes a beautifully decorated church with frescoes of the Last Judgment and gilded stuccoes, as well as a museum about the history of the monastery and a brewery with biergarten open to the public.
