The Ermita del Santísimo Cristo de San Martín is located on the outskirts of Hernansancho, next to the cemetery. Built in Romanesque style in the 12th century, it stands out for its semicircular apse with blind arches and corbels. Its robust buttresses of masonry and brick give it an imposing appearance. Financed by Francisco Sanz, knight of the Order of Santiago, the hermitage is an Asset of Cultural Interest since 1992. Once a year, on the last Saturday of September, the citizens of Hernansancho take the Christ out in procession and return it the following Monday.
