The church of Santo Tomé de Souto de Torres is a small and simple building of Romanesque origin, located in a rural and somewhat isolated environment. It has a simple but well-preserved structure, in the Romanesque tradition, with a rectangular nave covered with a wooden gable roof. Its structure includes a belfry with two openings and a pinnacle, although this feature seems to be a later addition. In its interior, it keeps a retired neo-Gothic altarpiece, as well as carvings of St. Peter and St. Anton from the 17th century. The temple is half surrounded by the parish cemetery, and in front of its main door stands a cruceiro built in 1919, adorned with representations of the Holy Christ, the Dolorosa and the Apostle Santiago.
