The Church of St. Nicholas, built in the 16th century, is known for the revered statue of Our Lady of Sorrows, brought from Naples in 1726 and restored in 1965 at Padre Pio’s request. Damaged by collapses in 1889 and 1982, it preserves some works by Natale Penati. Each Good Friday the statue is carried in procession, a focal point of devotion to the Sorrowful Virgin.
