Church of Santa Catalina

The parish church of Santa Catalina in Puente del Arzobispo, dedicated to the virgin and martyr Santa Catalina, has undergone numerous transformations over the centuries. Although it dates from the 15th century, it does not retain its original structure, having been completely rebuilt in the 19th century. The church combines elements of Gothic and Mudejar styles, and despite the reforms, you can still see evidence of these styles. The bell tower, built in the 17th century in Renaissance style, stands out for its excellent granite masonry and its spherical top. In the past, the hours were sung in this temple, imitating the practice of the main church of Toledo.
