Church of Madonna dei Sette Dolori

The Church of Madonna dei Sette Dolori, located along Via Majella, near the Alimonti mill, is a small 19th-century stone church with a triangular pediment, circular window, and commemorative plaques on its facade. Inside, the single-nave structure features an exposed reinforced concrete beam ceiling, gilded composite capitals, and two neoclassical altars with niches for saint statues, while the main altar is separated by a masonry balustrade. Next to the church, a Majella stone statue of the Sorrowful Virgin depicts Mary with seven swords in her heart, symbolizing her Seven Sorrows. Despite the presence of a modern industrial complex nearby, the church remains a peaceful place of prayer and devotion.
