The Torre di Bene in Orsogna, rebuilt in the 19th century on the remains of a medieval watchtower of the Kingdom of Naples, houses the “M. Parlatore” Museum and a collection of works by composer Mario Nascinbene. It has been a significant cultural center, hosting figures such as Gabriele D’Annunzio, Francesco Paolo Tosti, and Francesco Paolo Michetti, who may have found inspiration here for his painting “La figlia di Iorio”. Severely damaged during World War II, it remained abandoned until its restoration in the 1990s. Since its 1996 reopening, it has served as a key cultural venue in the community.
