The Parco della Rimembranza in Orsogna, inaugurated in 1926 by Prince Umberto of Savoy, was built on an abandoned cemetery, replacing a previous park damaged by transhumance. Promoted by Raffaele Paolucci, it houses the Sacrario dei Caduti della Grande Guerra (1922-1926), a neoclassical circular temple with Ionic columns and a commemorative shrine. It also features a consecrated chapel with marble plaques honoring the fallen and a poem by Paolucci about the Pola mission. A notable piece is a bronze crucifix by Pietro Canonica, crafted from Austrian cannons. Every November 4, the community gathers for a commemorative ceremony in honor of the heroes. It was originally designed with one tree planted for each fallen soldier.
