The hermitage of the Visitation, which dates from the seventeenth to the eighteenth century, is an important place of devotion in the village. It stands out for its architecture, with a circular vault in the sacristy and a simple but beautiful alfarje that covers the nave. Inside, there is a small Baroque altarpiece that frames the image of the Virgin of the 16th century, who, along with St. Bartholomew, is the patron saint of the town. In addition, the chapel contains a series of small panels depicting episodes from the life of the Virgin.
The feast of Our Lady of the Visitation has traditionally been celebrated on July 2, with vespers, mass and procession, accompanied by bullfights and bullfighting since at least 1678. However, due to the demands of agricultural work on those dates, the celebration was moved to August 25th in the 20th century to coincide with the feast of St. Bartholomew.
