The Church of San Salvatore is the parish church of Salle Nuovo, built in the 1920s in Neo-Romanesque style. The basilica-style facade has four sloping roofs and a portico with three semicircular arches that partially conceals the architraved entrance portal. The interior has three naves, separated by pillars, with a wooden coffered ceiling in the central nave and vaulted ceilings in the presbytery’s lateral sections. The decorations include tall pilasters with faux marble paintings, stained-glass windows, and ornate wooden ceilings. The apse features a mosaic of Christ the Savior, while a side chapel is dedicated to Blessed Roberto of Salle. The external roof consists of staggered double slopes covered with Marseille tiles, blending tradition with modern construction techniques.
