The Church of St. John the Baptist in Monteodorisio, Chieti, dates back to before the 14th century. Rebuilt in neoclassical style and completed in 1861, it features a brick façade with Doric pilasters, a lateral bell tower, and a three-nave interior adorned with stucco decorations and a historic 1757 organ. Among its artworks are paintings of the Resurrection and the Baptism of Christ, and a valuable 12th-century bas-relief of the Risen Christ from the demolished church of San Salvatore.
