The Church of Saint Anthony of Padua in Guglionesi (Molise), originally built in the 14th century as part of the Franciscan convent of San Francesco, stands as a key example of medieval and Baroque heritage. Initially constructed in the Apulian Gothic style, the church underwent major renovations in the 18th century, transforming its interior into a richly decorated Baroque space. The brick façade, restored in the 1920s, features pinnacles, palm leaf and pine cone motifs, and a central rose window revealed during a 1989 restoration. Inside, the single nave is adorned with stuccoes, frescoes, and a dome depicting Christ, culminating in a raised presbytery and a wooden choir. The church also preserves polychrome wooden statues from the 17th century and frescoes by local artist Nicola Iacobitti.
