Holy Savior church

The Church of the Most Holy Saviour (Chiesa del Santissimo Salvatore) in Casalbordino has medieval origins, dating back to the 14th century, but underwent major transformations during the 18th to 20th centuries, particularly in the Baroque period. Its facade features three entrances, decorative pilasters, and brickwork, while the interior, divided into three naves, is richly adorned with 18th-century stuccoes, symbolic motifs, and religious artworks. Highlights include a 1780 pipe organ, paintings inspired by Italian masters (like Guido Reni), and sculptures of San Nicola, San Michele, and the Madonna Addolorata.

The civic bell tower, rebuilt in 1901 by Antonino Liberi, is a 45-meter-high landmark with a square plan and elegant structure, crowned by a small dome and lantern. It is one of Casalbordino’s most recognizable symbols.
